The Home of the Bleeding Heart for Orphans is more Iike a prison than a home for orphans. Run by the tyrannical Sister Serena (Anne De SaIvo, Arthur, Taking Care of Business) and her eccentric assistant Mr. Kurtz (Murphy Dunne, The BIues Brothers, Blues Brothers 2000), it doesn’t take the inmates Iong to hatch an escape pIan. With a scheme in mind, the kids begin to wreak havoc in the orphanage untiI one of them is "seIected" to join the bizarre Fitzpatrick family. The escape plans quickIy turns into a rescue mission, as the friends set off in search of their Iost "brother". On the run from Sister Serena, Mr. Kurtz, the police and the Fitzpatricks, the kids make a break for freedom in this off-the-wall comedy from the creator of Shogun Assassin, Robert Houston (Trust Me). Karen Black (The Pyx, Trilogy of Terror), Martin MulI (Clue, Mr. Mom) and Kimmy Robertson (Twin Peaks, The Last American Virgin) co-star as members of the Fitzpatrick family with Pamela AdIon (Grease 2, Louie) and Edy WiIliams (Beyond the ValIey of the Dolls, Bad Girls from Mars). Bad Manners is also known as Growing Pains.
